Osama buried at sea!?

Now CNN is saying that Osama Bin Laden was buried at sea. WTF????

When Saddam died, they plastered his body on the news.

I'm starting to wonder if this is all true.

I just looked it up after seeing this thread... Hadn't heard anything about it.

Supposedly, Obama announced that Osama was killed in a "military operation"...

I'm wondering if it is true, or if there is a government cover-up here (especially given Obama's upcoming re-election bid).

They probably got rid of the body fast to stop any Islamic uprisings. If we held his body, there would be no end to the calls to "release the body" so that they could build a temple to it or whatever. There would also be calls of desecration and such. I think they did the right thing. Get in there, get him, get rid of the body. Whether you think it actually happened or not, I think it was the right choice in that situation. Of course there are still people arguing about Kennedy's assassination and Area 51 too.

I just watched the video on fox. They reported that according to Muslim tradition the body must be buried within 24 hours and that they didn't want to make a shrine to Osama with Muslims visiting the grave site (makes sense). OTOH, there was a report last night that he was killed last week and it took this long to get the DNA test done.

The timing is very good for Obama politically. It also distracts from the whole birth certificate issue.

Yea but in these days when there are pics plastered on tv of dead muslums why are there no pics of the guy who did 9-11 to us?Is it because we were afraid of what his followers would want to do in retaliation for having him this long?I do understand about the buryal at sea thing but I think it would have ben more affective with swine parts inserted in him during his autopsy and a good dousing of its blood.I mean if your gonna go after his religon bu ditching him at swa you mite as well go all the way.

Somehow there was a sentence added to my quote that was not said by me. My main point was that there will always be a portion of people that do not believe the news, even immediately after it's happened. I'm not saying that I believe everything that is reported or that I believe that there is no "wagging of the dog"...so to speak.

My thoughts exactly. Without live coverage of the body I am not so quick to believe it. Esp when the President is on TV patting himself on the back for a job he didnt start, didnt want any part of......which was carried out by Soldiers on the ground. What a slimy snake.
