While it’s a bit disappointing to hear about such shenanigans, I’m not a bit surprised, as with any other activity that involves human beings, there is always the potential for something like this happening. My personal belief is that the only way to protect the integrity of our sport is to mete out the most severe punishment possible, if that involves a lifetime ban, so be it. A slap on the wrist will not suffice. The severest of punishment is the only thing that would at the very least give other individuals considering such shenanigans to think twice. Just my .02

According to a 6/26 letter from USPSA President Phil Schrader which has been circulating to a number of sites, the RO involved has been banned from USPSA for life.
