      glock 19 holster.

      Raven Vanguard 2 if wearing just a shirt. No extra bulk to the holster and very comfortable at the appendix position. If I have a jacket I'll go with an outside the waistband kydex holster. Looking to get a Crossbreed Supertuck variation as well.

      The average CCW issue time?

      Just an update for anyone that's interested, I'm on week 7 by sending through the mail. Called last week and was told they were still waiting on fingerprint and background check to come back.

      Dicks sporting goods

      A Dick's Sporting Goods just opened here in Monroe. They don't sell pistols, and wait for it... NO .22 LR AMMO. The shelf was slammed full of ammuntion in a very small amount of calibers. No .22 ammo, and other ammo they have is overpriced.

      After reading all 4 pages of responses my IQ has dropped drastically. :crazy: To the OP no one can make that decision for Granny without knowing her physical ability/condition. As far as most everything else I read its probably best I don't respond.

      How much longer does it usually take if you mail your application in versus dropping it off? I sent mine off around 9/22.

      I just dont get the 40 cal.

      .40 is a compromised cartridge in my opinion, and I don't like the way it shoots. Much prefer my 9's or 45's. If I was stuck with hollowpoints I'll take one of my Glock 19's, if stuck with ball ammo I'll take one of my Glock 21's. I'll use one of my .40's if I'm forced to haha. None of them...
