I shot bullseye pistol for manyyears but my best annual average was only 848. I tested a wide variety of SV ammo several years ago and found that CCI SV and Aguilla SE gave slightly larger groups tham Wolf Match Target while Wolf Match Extra provided the smallest groupd by a slight margin. All...
As the previous poster stated avoid Ciener like the plague - customer service is totally nonexistent. My unit came with a smoothbore barrel which shot shotgun like patterns at 50 ft.
I have had expereince shooting several others and my comments are as follows:
The original Colt unit, is all...
Ialways prfer the powder manufactures pressure tested data. The Hodgdon website is excellent. The Alliant website is almost useless as they only provide data for the Speer/Alliant/Federal/CCI group of companies bullets - there 205 reloading guide had much more information.
If you PM me your...
While I do shoot Glock's and 1911's I prefer the ergonomics of the S&W 99 or S&W M&P. I shoot a S&W 99 in IDPA and a S&W M&P9PRO in USPSA. Both are great guns.
I carry the Kahr PM-9 in a pocket holster and have shot ca 500 rounds throught it with total reliability. The gun is surprisingly accurate for a short barreled 9mm. I find that my wrist notices that I have shot 50 rounds of 9mm through that light gun. I don't know if I would purchase a PM40...
I have used the AA kit on my G-17. It function flawlessly with CCI MiniMags. With Remington Golden it is relaible except for the ignition failures one sometimes expereinces with that ammo.
I tried a Ciener unit but if would not function on a stock Glock-17. Sent it back to the factory for...
Ihave had mixed results with ProMag magazines. The single stack 9mmfor the S&W 952 and the double stackfor the 9mm CZ-75 and PO14-45 have been satisfactory. I remember having some issues with some 45 ACP for a Sig 220 and 9mm for a Sig 226.
I carried a Glock 36 in 45 ACP for a while but found it was difficult for me to ceonceal reliably under all circumstances. I finally opted for a Kahr PM-9 which I carry in a pocket holster. My PM-9 has been totally reliable and surprisingly accurate. I can easilly place 6 shots into a 3 inch...
If you want the same trigger pull as you G-19 then purchase the G-17. The G-34 has the "advantage" of a slightly longer sight radius and lighter trigger pull.
