I spend a few weeks every year in Gatlinburg with my family. I love it up there. BenCarp had plenty of good suggestions, so these are kind of an addition.
Pigeon Forge is very touristy. I think of it as Veterans Highway in Metairie... That being said, there is plenty to do there. Go karts...

I think they will work for some panels, but they are very short, which may not allow them to set down far enough on grips that are any thicker than the stock ones(which are pretty thin). I also don't have any other grips or screws because I dont have a 1911. It doesn't help that I am finding...
I am having some trouble finding out whether or not 1911 grip screws will fit a mkIII 22/45 with removable panels. I was looking into modifying some cheap 1911 grips to fit the 22/45 if I can find some, but have read that some thicker panels will need longer screws. I am also finding conflicting...
