I have a buddy who has a R-25 in .308 and he loves it. Very accurate. If I'm not mistaken, Remington owns Bushmaster and I would believe that this rifle has Bushmaster engineering in its design.:):)
Count me in, I will love to have the learning experience. I do shoot at 600 yards and have sight settings there. I will have to learn to shoot prone though, it's a killer for my neck.:):)
The bolt came in out of tolerance and Surgeon is building me a target bolt. One more cut left and it should be here next week. Back up plan is a BAT action. Barrel rough cut and waiting to be threaded. Then on to McMillan for the stock. Still a few months out, but hunting season will be here so...
I have the Savage and a Marlin heavy barrel. The Savage has by far the better trigger, but the Marlin will out shoot the Savage with all ammo. The Marlin has a slightly longer barrel too. The Marlin will put 5 bullets touching at 100 yards and I can never get the Savage that accurate. The little...

Is this length the muzzle end of the recoil lug???
