      Ordering a gun?

I'm curious I'm looking for a very specific gun that no one seems to have in stock. Is it ok to ask my local dealer if he could order it for me etc? Not too sure on etiquette in this situation and what is the norm. PS> for the curious it is a blued Ruger Vaquero 5.5" barrel in 357.;)

The first 3-5 months of the year there are a few charity raffles etc that I try to participate in and do some knives to raffle or auction/sale. I do a local church youth group who tries to raise $ for mission trips for the youth and a summer camp where some can't afford it. Im also hoping to do...

      First forged knife

This is a blade I forged almost 2 years ago that has been sitting. I lost my pocket knife and thought well it is about time to get on this one. This is what I ended up with. Its 1084 steel with the forged scale left on. Copper spacer and stabalized redwood burl (looks brown in pics)

      Opinions on handles

So 3 of the same knife and I was working on different handles to see how they would come out. Any opinions/suggestion/comments? One is dark walnut that I need to sand a lot more and finish. One is camo g10. And the last is neon green g10 with mitered edges and a nice finger rest area.

So my little knifemaking thing has been doing real well. This tax return I plan on buying a very nice heat treat oven which gives me the ability to heat treat any steel without sending off or using friends ovens.
