      Plated bullet data

      Does anyone have any experience with or know where I can find load data for plated bullets? I have x-treme 180gr .40cal using hs-6 powder. I see some manufactures (rainier) say to load to lead specs, but am having trouble finding that too.

      Carry in Forest Hill

      I know laws have just changed somewhat on carrying in national forest areas, but am not quite clear what the final verdict was. Were going to forest hill in the near future & was wondering if I could CCW while camping in the Kisatchie national forest & around the area?

      Smith & Wesson M&P knife

      What do you guys think about the Smith & Wesson M&P knife? I was given one for my birthday last week. I find it to be comfortable in my hand & like the spring assist option. BTW it's a half serrated tanto blade.

      CHP Timeline ***Update***

      Heads up on permit time line. A buddy & I dropped permits off on June 26th at LSP in baton rouge. He just called me to let me know his came in the mail today. He's heading to Academy to pick up a G36 (if in stock) then I guess it's off to Walmart with his carry map.:mamoru:

      PF-9 vs. PPS

      What are some opinions on the Kel-Tec PF-9? I was looking at the Wather PPS for concealment but came across the PF-9 today for about half the price. Now I'm not sure if the price difference justifies getting the PPS.:confused:

      I'm applying for my CCW next month & I'm getting my ducks in a row. I just called the clerk of court for my parish where I was arrested for a DWI 10+ years ago. Nothing from them shows up under my name for an arrest, conviction, expungement, etc... So how do I go about answering question 7, 8...
