Given only one choice, I would rather the assault weapons ban than the above. People need to think of all the ramifications if this were to pass. Ask yourself how in the hell it could ever be enforced.....that should scare the crap out of ANY gun owner
Oh I agree wholeheartedly
Though when it comes military arms, I can appreciate the utilitarian nature of some...which is the case of 82A1, to me it just says, no frills badassness
the little bipods used on most rifles...well it does weigh 3-4 times as much as those and well it also recoils a little more also :D But me thinking, that had a hint of sarcasm in it, lol
Actually, the smart thing to do is just hold on to them....it's not a loss till you sell it for a loss. First, this is just a breather, all it will take is one more psychopath, the next time it will pass.
I remember thinking 1100-1500 was a lot to pay for hk 94's or FN FALS back around the...
yep, there is no shortage
many of you are to young to remember what the Hunt brothers did to the silver market in the 70's.
Everyone thinking it's the end, thanks to the anti-gun bunch...then you have the ones buying up ammo and flipping it at high prices and driving up the prices and the...
I believe Lake City just does rifle rounds and larger munitions, the bulk of the pistol cartridges for the government are contracted out to commercial companies. There was no shortage up until there was all the talk of limiting ammunition purchases....then the hoarding started. That's all it is...
All I've got to say, if it ever comes to the point that we actually think we need and might possibly use all these 1000's of rounds of ammo that we are hoarding......we as a nation and people are in a situation that I for one hope, I or my kids are not around to witness :)
The great thing about America....you don't have to buy it at these prices either.
Many of "us" are also in the "panic" buy mode, we think we need all this ammo and firearms all of a sudden, why didn't we need them when they were plentiful and "cheap".
I use to do the gun show thing, usually...

Jindal should be courting them, heard Indiana already has.
Then it is toothless laws. The only way they could be enforced is with registration and an individual required to carry a registration card with each firearm to prove ownership. This bill should scare gun owners like no other bill
It is an unenforceable set of laws and they know it....ask yourself why are they doing it then?
Think about it...how can this be enforced
Temporary transfers between unlicensed persons if:
*It occurs at the tranferor's home and it stays at the home - can't bring it to your buddy's house...
