My apologies for not reading the entire thread, but I'll bet many will agree with my position . I taught hand to hand at the Secret Service academy as one of my assignments during a 28 year career. We had the Gracies out of Ventura visit and train with us. The final decision as to whether the...
I like the Glock 26 with a Glock 19 magazine. Fill the gap between the longer mag and the mag well with a sleeve from Xgrip. For occasions that require more concealement just go back to the stock G26 mag.
I agree completely...and for that reason I've begun buying 9mm for my retirement years and I don't own a 9mm at this time. I expect I'll purchase a Glock 19 at the LEO discount before I call it quits.
Sig 226 in 357 sig caliber is the issued sidearm for SS personnel. For gun carrying employees stationed in the DC metro area they must qualify every 30 days. That's a lot of rounds fired. The pistol and ammo have earned a solid reputation among SS agents.

I did enough research to make my decision, and bought two Rugers ($330 each). Put one away for a family member and took the other to the NG Armory in Slidell for testing. Straight out of the box I ran 200 rounds without a failure of any kind. Ammo was restricted to Speer gold dot. I'm not a...
A little help/advice, if you please...
I'm considering going to the gun show in Gonzales this Saturday to shop for an AR15. I'll have a few items to offer for trade, but I'm stumped on the value of my M1 carbine I picked up about 20 years ago. It is an import by Blue Sky, has IBM stamped...
nickatnite is correct about NCIC although I expect Wilson will be able to connect your gun to a serial number and allow a proper entry to NCIC. Actually, it's a good thing that other items were taken from you and your neighbors. Hopefully serial numbers are known for some of the other stolen...
