I got a double edge setup from Amazon about a month ago and have loved it. I have the Feather blades and they are SHARP.

I use shaving soap and shaving brush and shave in the shower.

I can't do it. I guess I just have a girlie face or something because with an adjustable on the tightest setting and several different of the best creams and my face ends up with worst diaper rash you've ever seen.

If you're a member at badger and blade he may give added discount. When I ordered all the stuff to try it I got it from him.

Yea, DE's require more prep work and a slower pace. I guess it isn't for everyone.

after seeing this thread i decided to give this a try again after 30+ years away from the double edge blades, worked well for a week or so. one morning i was in a rush and cut the hell out of myself, had some stypic (sp), the stuff that stop bleeding, like to never got it stopped. the next day i had a doctors appt. and he saw the band aid, he said i came mighty close to the jugular vein. didn't take me long to get over the nostalgia of DE blades. this thread must've been started by someone with stock in Gilette Blue Blades.
