      Having a cop say it's ok is not having permission, unless he's authorized by the owner/responsible party. I have cop friends too, that would join me on the trip, but I'd rather have legit permission

      Found out who owns and manages it. The City of New Orleans owns the property and it is overseen by the IDB. I'm going to give them a call tomorrow and see what it would take to go on a little adventure. http://www.idbcno.com/index.html

      Does anyone know how difficult it is to go out to Jazz Land and just check it out? I know a lot of photographers have gone out there, but not sure if it's illegal, unenforced, whatever... I've always wanted to go out there just to check it out, but I'm also really into the "Life After People"...

      I've got an XTi that I bought when they first came out. I've never learned how to use it, so I just don't. Has 2 batteries, bag, standard lens, and some filters and other little misc. items. I'll give you a great deal on it. I've played with it a few times, and made it take some great pictures...

      Don't take your wife, probably have more fun then lol My wife doesn't come fishing with me and my son, she's stays home with the baby. He loves it, everytime he goes in the garage he grabs his fishing pole.
