      Not sure why everyone de grades the 4.8s. They are strong little motor and get out of there own way easily In stock form the 5.3 has a bit more torque. No where near a reason for a motor swap Same blocks,same bore,different stroke. .40 difference in stroke here. Best way to gain Lowend is gears...

      Gm half ton 99- current 10bolt 8.5/8.6 rearend I would suggest a Eaton Tru Trac if you have the money, very nice and always lock Go with a gear of choice but you cant beat GM 4.11s What you need Locker if you can afford.       4.11s will do pretty good. It will get you back to stock ratio pretty much, if your looking for performance go with a little lower gear,or if you pull loads I run 4.11s in my truck with 29in tires,I assume you have 3.42s,a 3.73 isnt worth the swap.Go straight to 4.10s Im @ 2500-26rpm @ 65mph...

      After tossing around the Glocks and XDMs,both felt really good in the hand. I figured i just couldn't go wrong with a Glock So there i stand .40 guy.. LGS 19 and 27 in hand Couldn't decide,I loved both. Picked up the 27 Gen3 that day,and ordered a 23Gen4 from from my FFL that will be here...

      Just came back from both Very disappointed in the hand selection in Bass Pro also No 9mm or 5.56 Cabelas has a good bit of 7.62 in stock,no 5.56,didn't even check for 9,40,45 I was to busy checking out some handguns. Academy on Ambassador yesterday had no Pmags,no 5.56,7.62,9mm
