I can't sort search by date or get my search results to load any but the first page

When I do a "search forum" in the classifieds, I am given several pages of results sorted by relevance. When I select "date" for sorting, nothing happens, even if I hit the search button again. It also won't load any but the first page. When I hit the "next", "2" (or any other page...

WTB: WTB used youth 410 or 20 gauge

I bought my boys a Remnington 870 21" barrel express compact pump 20 gauge that is a bit too heavy for them. The next season or two we'll need a smaller gun for them to share. We looked today and the Rossi 410/22 is a bit too small, but the Mossberg 410 in 20" barrel fit them just right. I...

Saw mill near BR that would allow cub scouts to scavenge cut offs of rough cut pine ?

Pine was recommended for cheapness, availability, and adequate longevity. I am definately not married to the idea. We minimally need pieces about 5" wide and 10" long (at 3/4" thick, comes to about 1.5 bft per house), but wider and longer pieces are also on the wish list as I'd like to also...

Saw mill near BR that would allow cub scouts to scavenge cut offs of rough cut pine ?

It has been pointed out to me that most mills are automated to send cuttoffs to the chipper, so I guess I'm now looking for retail sources for rough cut lumber in or around BR, pine or other. The home centers only carry finished /planed lumber.

Saw mill near BR that would allow cub scouts to scavenge cut offs of rough cut pine ?

Our pack is looking to make blue bird houses and I'd like to use 3/4" rough cut pine. Are there any mills near Baton ROuge that would allow the public to pick through their cutoffs for material at a minimum cost? Thanks

NRA Strongly Opposes Obama Nomination to Head BATFE

Recess appts have historically been made only if a president's nominee can't get a vote/hearing in congress. Holding up nominees is a favorite tactic of both parties when the opposition controls the White House. The difference with the head of Medicare, is that it was the Democrats that...

Government Agents Seize Oath Keeper's New Born From Hospital

It is a shame that the dude may be a wretch, but a parent who is an Oath Keeper is not committing child abuse, and his involvment with that group should not have been listed as a legal justification for seizing his child. It is telling. Comical aside. Can you imagine the shtstorm if a...

      Shooting at BRGH-Midcity

Did the fella who got shot survive? While the Bluebonnet General is obviously newer, nicer, and in a better part of town, I know quite a few BR lifers, particularly the older generations, that won't go anywhere but Midcity. It's the original BR hospital where all their children were born...

The recycling police have gone to Cleveland (RF Chips in bins)

I remember when recycling was first being pushed in large communities. It was to be FREE MONEY for the community, more than paying for itsef. Instead it's incredibly expensive, but at least it provides countless numbers of well paid, unionized, democrat-voting, official government trash-sorters.

48% See Government Today As A Threat to Individual Rights

Considering that "Government is a threat to individual liberty" is a founding principle of our country, it's astounding that only 48% of the people agree, at least in abstract, that this is true.
