We should not be any less disgusted by the acts of the Legislature in all this. They tried riding roughshod over the Governor. They tried using their supposed might to tell everyone who ruled the roost. They almost succeeded. They still may, assuming they try to override the veto. I hope...- Toby

Politicians pay raise
This will come back to bite him, assuming he has higher political goals in the future. I sincerely hope he runs for President in the next 4 or 8 years. Not vetoing this legislation will be a huge mark on his otherwise good record of cleaning up corruption.- Toby

New Colt 1991 Series 1911A1 - Opinions?
Houma Auto Parts hasn't had a Springfield 1911 for awhile, I've been checking for a few weeks. I've bought several guns with John, he's treated me fairly over the years, and doesn't mind answering many of the questions I offer up. -

Thanks for the input guys. I think I'm going to pass on the Colt 1991, and keep looking. I tried Songy's and Academy, but did not find a single Springfield. I'll take a look/feel at the next gun show. -Tob
