I would probably go with the 350 Legend. Zeroed at 150 yards leaves you +2" at 100 and -4" at 200 retaining about 900 lb/ft of energy at that range. So you're getting roughly 30-30 performance out of an AR-15 platform. You get all of this in an extremely low recoil package making it great for...
Pack n Paddle in Lafayette also has Demo days from time to time. If you call ahead, they can set up a private demo of any of the models they have in stock at Lake Martin which is not far from their store at all.
Definitely check out Bayou Coast Kayak Fishing Club... Loads of information...
This is not an official classified thread, but in another thread where someone was looking for a 4" 1911 I posted that I might have one for sale. It is gone as of about 10:00 this morning.
Just decided to post here that it's gone since I had several people interested in it.
Check this out...

Get yourself a kayak and you can go after redfish, speckled trout, drum, etc... Doesn't take up much space. This one is 12' long x about 30" wide. No maintenance. They are also quite...
Funny, I was just thinking about getting rid of my Kimber. I have the Ultra Crimson Carry II I think. It's definitely the mid-size model. This is a stock pic, PM on the way with my contact information...
Also, if anyone is interested, Bobby Lynn's Marina in Leeville should be starting to rent kayaks in March. They will have many options up to and including the Hobies with Mirage drive.
I can definitely agree with you there. Getting dragged around by a big red fish is pretty exciting. Hopefully, I can get out in Pontchartrain this summer and go after some bull sharks.
Where we lack beaches and freshwater springs, we more than make up for with a VAST marsh. It may not be the same type of water you're used to, but it's fishing. Being in NO, you're pretty much right in the middle of it.
Get you a kayak and give it a shot.
Yeah, I'm a member. Was going to post up a link if anyone seemed to be interested. That forum is a wealth of information for anyone interested in kayak fishing.
Was just curious to see if anyone on here did it.
I have been kayak fishing for about 2 years now and it's a blast when you...
I have got to quit looking at guns for sale. This thing is right up my alley and would be a great repeater to follow the H&R single shot I'm planning on getting for my son soon.
I'd love to tag along with someone on a dog hunt. Have been once to 3 Rivers/Red River WMA's and 2 more times with someone who had dogs, but he was hunting some questionable areas. I stopped going with him. Really want to keep things legit. I know once deer season shuts down completely, many...
