      I get it that is the law, But..... If you have a friend, that is a felon, pick up some ammo for you. I get the firearm part, but the ammo part is ?? It would be like if you have a DWI and can not drive then you get caught with the keys:dunno:

      :dunno: So.... If someone reports their gun stolen and is the 4th or even the 10th owner he must have the "Original receipt" to recover it from the PD? Why even have a receipt if your the one that reported it? :doh:

      Of course this was an "if". The real question is can an officer take your firearm and not place you under arrest for failure to inform that you are CCW?

      I was talking to an officer about CCL and what is required when approched. As we all should know, if CCW you must inform the officer if armed. His thuoghts were if the CCL holder did not inform, he would have the right to take the firearm. I thought the only way that an officer had the right...

      Went over the weekend to this range west of Houston. this is a real nice place! 100 yrds and up to 600 yrds. This is a big place that has PLENTY skeet, trap, clay etc.... Just some FIY for those who travel. www.amshootcenters.com

      Taurus PT140 Pro / HELP!

      OK I thought I would help a friend out by cleaning "his" PT140 for him. I took it apart with no problems but when I put it back together the slide seem to lock. The pin is still out, but the slide only moves about a 1/4". Any one have this happen to them? Any thoughts? !! Help!! Ok got...
