      Why is a $3K 1911 better than a $389 Glock 19?

Now now, we must all treat each other like adults. A funny guy once told me that.

      Why is a $3K 1911 better than a $389 Glock 19?

Nobody ever lusted over a glock the way I just listed after that colt. That is beautiful.

      Why is a $3K 1911 better than a $389 Glock 19?

If you start out as an awful looking chunk of cheap plastic it's really not hard to hold the small amount of value that you start with.

      Why is a $3K 1911 better than a $389 Glock 19?

Yea those 1911's are terribly unreliable in stock trim. This Springfield only has 98,000 rounds through it. That's completely un-possible! http://www.m4carbine.net/showthread.php?109753-50-000-(now-88K)-rounds-and-counting-Springfield-Operator Why Glock guys feel the need to compare these...

      Why is a $3K 1911 better than a $389 Glock 19?

It's a thread based entirely on opinion. There is no right or wrong answer. I answered the question that was posed by giving my opinion why 1911's are better than Glocks. He is obviously just trolling so I threw the troll a bone, and he bit!

      Why is a $3K 1911 better than a $389 Glock 19?

Good to know. You are saying you are not qualified to speak to the difference between the to guns. Excellent post. I don't think that our forefathers would have a different opinion moving from Germany to Austria.

      Why is a $3K 1911 better than a $389 Glock 19?

1911 has a soul and feels good to the touch. The Glock is a soulless hunk of plastic that is cold yet efficient. I could only imagine what our forefathers would say. You chose German plastic over American Iron? SHAME!

Pure awesome - Help Overturn 18 USC 922(o) and NFA

The reason they have not raised the tax is only because it's actually written into the legislation. They would have to change the NFA in order to change the tax amount. I am sure they have tried to find a way around it.

I know Stephen personally and you are just flat wrong. The money is held in trust and removed as hours are billed. There are rules on what he can bill Fo and what e can't. Stephen has to pay the bills and this is going to eat up quite a bit of time he would otherwise be spending on other cases...

That's not a gun law. That is a sanction levied as punishment for being convicted of a felony.

Just FYI a private party can own a cannon. It's called a "destructive device". We have a few. My brother is completely nuts about them. He has 3 and a breach ring for a 105. https://vimeo.com/111266720https://vimeo.com/111266730
