      Picked one up at a pawn shop a few months back. Enjoy it as a plinker. No problems with it either. The kids and wife enjoy the single action of it.

      The pistol feels great in my hand also. I gave it serious thoughts too. But any number of friends I have that sell these also warn me against them.       Bought a post 64 a while back as a project gun. Was in rough shape. Put a little work into it, and it turned out to be a really nice shooter. You will have a blast with it.

      Marlin Model 25 problem

      My daughter has one. Fun little .22. I know that when I insert the mag it usually goes in with a bit of an angle. Much like an AK's mag. But I have never had a mag jam like that. Hope you can avoid the hammee and screwdriver......
