      I haven't decided on a suppressor yet and plan to go to Arms Merchant in Mandeville which is close to me. Can you tell me the difference between Form 3 and Form 4? Thanks much for your help :)

      My trust is completed and ready to go, and I have a question. It's my understanding that the processing time for a suppressor is around 9 months. Is this the normal processing time for future purchases or just the first-time purchase?

      Dropped off two applications 5/20/13. Wife got hers in 12 weeks. Mine arrived 9/30 (20 weeks).

      My wife's arrived today. Dropped off and fingerprinted at LSP Headquarters on May 20th. It's been a few days short of 12 weeks. Mine was dropped off the same day. Still waiting.

      I phoned them today and was told mine and my wife's applications are in processing. We delivered our applications to LSP and were printed on May 20.

      Yours is the first received permit with a May drop-off that I've seen here. We were printed and dropped ours off 11 days before you did (May 20), so maybe we're getting close.

      With the mail-in and hand-in dates we're seeing along with time it's taken people to receive their permits, it seems obvious that the hand-ins process a bit faster, but there must be other things that cause 3 or 4 times the wait for some people. Could be something popping up on the records check...
