I had a booth at the Kenner gun show about a year ago. After the show, while I was busy bringing items from the table to my truck a pistol was stolen from the inside of my vehicle. It was a HK USP .45, and a gun I was very attached to, I waited 8 months for it to come in back in '94 when I...
I thought I would give an update on the items I have been working with lately. I have been processing many ATV parts, particularly Can-am Transmissions, through shafts, axles and most recently an entire engine with all bearings axles, rotors, tranny and everything else that is metal. Because of...
I am attempting to gather data on competition barrels. I have noticed a large amount of competition AR shooters using JP and Krieger barrels. Both of these barrel manufacturers use cryogenic processing as part of their manufacturing process.
I would like to get a good idea of the percentage...
If you have done business with Cajun Cryogenics please feel free to share your experiences and or the results of the process on your items.
I have included some feedback already posted and or sent to me from my customers...
I will use this thread to keep everyone on Bayou Shooter informed on the dates of upcoming cycles that have space available and the dates that items will be ready for pick up. If you have items needing cryo processing let me know, I will run additional cycles as needed. I also post this...
It is great to have the forum up and running again. For a while I had focused on the automotive and industrial tool markets but after further thought I decided to revisit my favorite market, firearms.
I have worked with many here at Bayou Shooter and the results have been great. I have...
Keep in mind this is probably the hardest test for someone who is trying to show the benefits of cryogenic processing. This test was conducted with a Rem 870 18 in barrel and using 9 pellet 00 buck. The test was done using the same shotgun the same ammo and batch of ammo at the same distance...
Ok I know that Benelli is doing this and it works very well but I like to have test results that are specific to my processor. So I processed a Rem 1100 12 ga barrel and choke tube. My friend John patterned it next to a browning A-5 with a custom Hastings Wadlock barrel and a Hastings cryo’d...
Anyone else think this is really messed up?
This toy coin operated machine was in the KFC on Williams blvd in Kenner near the airport. My 2yr old wanted some gum and when we saw the machine I could not believe it. A vending machine that normally dispenses toys for children now selling...
In my opinion there is nothing more perfectly suited to cryo-processing than blades items.
Knives can be sharpened to a keener edge and will hold that edge easily twice as long as non processed knives. Blades also are stronger and less likely to chip or break.
Ka-bar uses a similar process...
I recently processed some audio components for a customer in the New Orleans area. He was very pleased with the results. I am not very knowledgeable when it comes to high end audio amplifiers and other audio components but it worked very well and I thought I would include his results with...
Is there anyone out here who can tell me why I no longer can pick up BR city PD? Did they just switch over to another system? Digital? I have been listening to BRPD on a trunking system for a couple of years and as of this week I no longer can. I can still get EBRPSO (17616) and everything else...
I have 8 new government contract AR 15 30rd mags that have been Cryogenically processed. Grey aluminum with regular followers (not anti-tilt). These are part of a test batch processed by Cajun Cryogenics and i am looking for feedback on their performance. The cryogenic process strengthens the...
