      Local fishing holes to bring kids? BTR/Ascension/river parishes

      Hey guys, anyone have any ideas where to take young kids fishing around here? Young kids who probably won't be able to fish for very long. Attention spans being what they are. But they are showing interest and I want to facilitate that as much as possible. Any advice is welcome.

      Mexico to sue US firearm manufacturers.....

      Gotta love it. Talk about a waste of resources for Mexico! Use the money to do something about your problem not hiring a US firm to sue only US gun manufacturers! So lets say you win the case... there are still manufacturers of arms in every country in the world. Did you really fix anything? No.

      Well, all of their qualifications are posted on the exam sheet, test score, race, gender, military preference. Just my humble guess knowing the people in our lovely area. Whoever it is I truly hope he/she does a great job.

I'm with everyone else in thinking things have gone soft and that kid might have deserved a good butt whoopin', but that isn't how kids should be conducting a fist fight.       I'm a hockey fan. Watched a lot of NHL as a kid and we had the Ice Gators in Lafayette when I lived there. I'm in the same boat as everyone else though. Never get to watch any of it any more.
