Most of the time around here the only way a stolen car gets discovered is if some one does something stupid in from of an officer. Then they don't find out unless the driver runs or if the call in tells them the car is stolen. (the LE don't really look for them) If they find one parked somewhere...

An AR is just a tool to preform a job. That job is to deliver a projectile on target without fail.

If you are good with your hands you can build your own tools for building AKs.
Like this rivet tool made from a grade 8 bolt that can be bought for a few $$ from your local hardware store.
I cut & ground it to shape with a $19 angle grinder.
The only part that is steel in the Plum Crazy lower is the bolt catch, the rest of it is composite material that is how it is a full pound less.
I bought one of these lowers just to test and see how fast it falls apart.
But to my surprise it looks to be a solid lower not bad at all it has...
It is so easy I wouldn't call it a build it is more of just an assembly.

I did my 1st AR build in about 30 to 45 min. it was just that easy.

The best way is to thread the end of the barrel & use a screw on muzzle brake. Are you sure someone didn't make a mistake all of the ones I have seen are threaded 3/4-28TPI. The type of muzzle brake is an option that costs more, but if you choose no muzzle brake you would think they would thread...
