      mosin rail mount question..

      i drilled and tapped a mosin nagant one time. just once and the metal was so hard on it that i don't think i'll ever volunteer to do one again. it came out nice and all but i would recomend anyone doing one to spot aneal the metal first if they know what they're doing heat treat-wise.

      check the barrel/cylinder gap with a feeler gauge. are you shooting black powder cartridge? if you are, the residue can quickly build up in the gap and cause cylinder drag. i'm down in gonzales / baton rouge but feel free to give me a call about the issue. i've done a lot of single action...
