Woman KOed while struggling w/ police

No doubt the female was causing problems, and I'm sure the leo were aggravated in dealing with her. I'm pro-police, but what I saw he clearly slammed her.

      Best Defense

I'm glad to see ANY personal defense programs on television......they are sort of scarce. They do a good job explaining and giving a person options, preventions, and likely outcomes. HOWEVER, be careful about accepting everything they say at face value.....it might not happen on the street...

      Revolution coming?

Good read, thanks for posting and "spot on" analysis. IMHO- Complacency is the underlying killer here, and I'm referring to many, many American voters. The snake oil salesmen used to hawk their products with all sorts of promises. The snake oil salesmen still exist today hawking a different...

My Fridge may be dying. Suggestions?

I agree with the defrost timer idea. If it's stuck on (defrost heater working) then essentially that heat is now constantly fighting the cooling capability of your frig. If it's stuck in the off postion, then the defroster is incapable of working and your cooling coils have now frozen...

One For The Situational Awareness File

Agreed. The first train is what they wanted to film. It looked like an old vintage train that had been restored. There are some that runs in the US, typically people will gather and take pics as they pass. I got the feeling this was in Europe, maybe Germany?

I think it's outstanding that you contacted her.......THEY NEED FEEDBACK AND THEY NEED TO BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR INACCURACIES. I've contacted my share of reporters about bad information. Of course the giant problem is that they controld the ink and misinformed mucho people, but mucho people...

SB81 and HB556 have both passed their initial votes, but our work has only begun

I wish it was a done deal already, but I'm happy to start emailing, and calling again. It is a very worthwhile endeavor. If we get lazy and complacent we'll one day wind up like some of these other states. CRANK IT UP GUYS AND GALS.

Legislative Blog Updates Here is One

I'm watching now, it looks like they've moved away from gun bills. Has 556 been done or is it still upcoming? I watched the church bill discussion and was surprised to see they didn't exactly have a good answer for carrying in a church on a school campus. Plus there seemed lacking a good...

I agree, I think all the reps and senators should get written support. If any of those legislators have aspirations one day for higher statewide public office, they want you to vote for them. To some level I'm sure your emails have an affect on them nevertheless.

Of course the bad affect comes when you: Walk over to a neighbors Walk the dog, ride a bike, jog the block, walk to the store Walk to a car parked on the street Have car trouble, wreck, flat tire in any public part of the 1000' zone. Get the mail out of a curbside box The outcome falls...

Legislative Blog Updates Here is One

True, and the antidote for that is WORKING HARDER, by making more phone calls, writing more emails, and recruiting your friends and families to do the same and let the legislators know how much we support these bills. THEY'VE GOT TO HEAR FROM US, MORE THAN THEY HEAR FROM THE OPPOSITION. MAKE...

      SB81 Passed

I'm taking a break right now, but I'm in the process (about a third completed) of emailing every representative in the State and asking them to support HB556 and other gun related bills. I didn't bulk the emails out, I'm sending an individual to each one addressing them by name. To me...
