      deer hunting with a 3030

      I just got it and was surprised by its lack of recoil... It has less then my 243 and 270... I love all 3 guns, but this is my primary hunting rifle now. However I do not know the effective range of a 3030 on a deer.

      7mm-08 vs 223 single shot for wife thats scared of recoil

      So my wife is scared of my shotgun. Now I gotta get her one of these 7mm-08 or 223 for the season. I've never shot either one of them except 223 in Ar platform. Shes just terrified about the recoil.
