Yes it is true that many cops don't train often enough.
As well as many of the members here.
But I truly doubt many concealed permit holders would be carrying in an airport.
Their weapons would be secured in their luggage.
So I don't see what even a well trained person could have done in this...
Many private security companies have as good or better training than local law enforcement.
As for the lights, it's funny because my company used blue lights when I was there.
Police used red/white exclusively.
Houston has had armed security services for decades.
Some really good, some not so good.
I worked armed security patrol in Houston when I lived there.
