Having the concealed handgun permit gives you the priviledge of "concealing" your handgun. That means you have the option of open carry or concealed. Anyone can legally open carry.
You'll find Galco holsters and a variety of others at Cabelas...which are the similar to Crossbreed. But if I am not mistaken, Crossbreed are special order from them.
Every variety of holster has its ups and downs. You will go through a few of them before you find which is your personal...

I have one....and I like it. I carry in a pocket holster for everyday wear. Pretty darn accurate...have about 300 rounds through it with no jams or hangups.
Just be advised that it is a .380...need precise placement of shots to be effective. I have it loaded with Golden Sabre HP.

I agree to take and fire the one you are going to carry. I have no problem with any of my students firing whatever caliber they feel fit. If you want to fire a 50 cal 36 times, then do it....I'll clear the range and have a cast ready for your hand. Its what you are comfortable with and above...
Its not concealed as it looks in the pic....but you are very close! One slip, and you could be concealing. I would recommend a good belt holster for open carry, or just get your CCW permit. Just realize that when you open carry, as I tell my students, your demeanor and attitude towards others...
